Happy New Year Punky Ho's!

Out with the old and in with the new and we have a TON of new stuff happening lately!

First of all, let's thank our new mod's (you can always see a full list of who all of our mods are here) for their hard work and time dedication to Punky Moms.

Second, and before we forget, congratulations to those of you who made and have so far kept New Years Resolutions! Even if your resolution is not not get any worse, it's better than a step back!

We have several new boards...PMAA, Punky Moms Active Awareness and Private Matters (for members with 500 posts and up).

One of our New Years resolutions at Punkymoms, is an environmental one. The earth is in crisis right now and we are all coming together to make a change, and a better world for our kiddos. Each month we will have a new Eco-challenge, where members can participate by changing the way they live, and will be awarded plaudits for doing so. January's challenge is "Recycle/Reuse"... you can read about it here...

We've got a brand spankin' new Home Decor area! We're not Martha, but we do have our own sense of style. Post your home decor tips and tricks, or show off your before & after pics. Have a question? I bet someone has an answer!

Meals for HEAL has it's own area for weekly recipes posted by our own Tryskel. Meals for HEAL is a public board, anyone can post (so we'll be extra diligent about spam, and we apoligize in advance if any gets posted!) and anyone can read. We feel it is a great service not only for Punky Moms, but for the world. Meals for HEAL will also be posted to Punky Food, you can find it and other recipes there.

Out with the old, In with the new

January has brought us more changes than we can remember right now! One of them is saying goodbye to PunkyBay. As of January 17, we'll be shutting her down and deleting all of her records.

It's so hard to compete with eBay, and PunkyBay has sort of fallen by the way-side. Among her problems were spam! I'm sure some of you noticed some rather strange auctions listed.

We will be offering (at a later date) a way for you to essentially consign your new, hand-made (this includes sewing machines, knifty knitters, etc..) items through the PunkyShop. We haven't ironed out the kinks yet, but when we have we'll announce!

You will still be able to trade and sell your items on the Advertise Your Wares and ISO boards. We will be revamping the Advertise Your Wares board so it more clearly includes selling your older stuff, not just pimping your business items.

Need a recap of current member events? Sarah is going crazy with a new handsome man and a toddler that's forgotten how to sleep. Winter had a scare with Waylon, who thankfully is getting much better AND she got a prius! Francis got a new fridge (with an ice maker! I'd die if I didn't have mine!) Raven and Inari are getting better. We've had a ton of mamas get new homes (always fun news!) and Diana is going to DisneyWorld! Ah, what else? Maggles and Siri are adjusting to new meds.
