Just a note to let you know that our Ornament Swap is gearing up right now! Don’t miss out!

In an effort to be a bit more timely this year, I’m opening sign-ups for the holiday ornament swap. They will be open for a week (longer if it looks like people haven’t seen the thread).

$15 maximum. You can also make ornaments, if you are craftily inclined. I can try to match up people who would prefer home-made ornaments, but I’m not making any promises.

You must have a current subscription and have over 1000 posts to see the swap board.

Our SwapMistress Kelly has also opened up the card swap , so don’t miss out on that either!

Some of our rules are being overlooked and that is not good. So here are a couple reminders.

1. DO NOT send money etc. To people unless you either know them IRL or are firmly convinced they are who they claim and are truly in the situations they claim. If you do choose to send someone money or gifts and it is not part of a swap, you do so at your own risk. Read the official policy here

2. If someone left the community and you are curious as to why, either email or find that person on myspace or facebook and askb them. Or PM an admin. DO NOT message other members here speculating about it or making accusations of someone running them off the board. If you have concerns, contact an Admin. Don’t spread rumors and gossip. 3. Pleas follow the general ettiquette rules here. I am tired of having to be the policeman. If you aren’t mature enough to follow proper ettiquette then you don’t belong here. We are not going to tolerate rule breakers etc. If that means banning people to keep this place running smoothly and drama free, then so be it. Read the official ettiquette policy here.
